Q: So tell me a little about yourself!
Q: What is your Instagram “story?” Did you create your account with the intention of it being health and fitness related, or did it start off as more personal?
When I first started my fitness journey, I used IG to browse through inspiring quotes, pictures, and accounts. I learned SO much through social media and researching online, and was inspired to start an Instagram account of my own. In the beginning, I would just post healthy meal ideas and a few things a week pertaining to fitness, but as more and more people began to follow me, my content began to grow. I love that I can inspire and motivate so many people on a daily basis. The amount of love and support that you receive from people that have never met you truly amazes me. I have formed some amazing friendships and have been blessed with so many opportunities because of social media and Instagram. I am very thankful for the audience and the ability to be able to inspire others.
Q: While we know you LOVE to workout, what’s your favorite way to relax and unwind on a “rest” day?
I do LOVE to workout; it is something that truly makes me happy and I look forward to it each and every day, but we all need to take a rest day for optimal recovery ☺ My typical rest day usually includes a good book, a warm cup of tea, and the fuzziest pajamas I own. I love reading books about self-discovery and I always trying to learn more. I am also a full time student so I always have studying/homework to do as well.
Q: What do you feel is the largest obstacle facing the nutrition/fitness world today?I think that the biggest issue in the fitness world today is that everyone wants to be someone else. There are SO many different ways that you can better yourself and your health. There are thousands of forms of exercise and each one has its benefits. Crossfit, powerlifting, bodybuilding, yoga, pilates, running, and even dancing are all awesome forms of exercise. I want people to know that you do not have to do what everyone else is doing. Do something that you truly enjoy and something that makes you happy. Fitness and working out shouldn’t be something you feel like you have to do to burn calories, but something that you look forward to each day.
Q: What is your dream job?
