We also hope that you're young ones have had a blast collecting vast amounts of candy (as they're known to do this time of year,) but that doesn't mean they have to have a complete sugar crash! We know for a fact that kids LOVE the combination of sweet and sour, so these Chocolate Dipped Apple Slices are sure to make them forget that bag of candy, especially after you sprinkle on some ENLIGHTENED Trail Mix!
Melting your favorite chocolate chips with coconut oil will produce the perfect smooth texture for a flawless dip!
A perfect mixture of Cocoa-Dusted and Sea Salt Roasted Broad Bean Crisps, Crunchy Coconut Shavings and Chewy Dark Cherries, our Trail Mix makes the perfect topping for this delicious healthy treat! :)
- 1 Granny Smith apple (or any other type of apple if you'd like less tart)
- Chocolate Chips
- Coconut Oil
- ENLIGHTENED Trail Mix
- Wax paper
- Core and slice the apple into wedges
- Melt chocolate chips in the microwave. Stir in just a touch (about ¼ tsp. per ¼ cup of chocolate) of coconut oil to create a smooth, dippable texture.
- Dip your apple slice into the chocolate, add some pieces of ENLIGHTENED Trail Mix, then set to dry on wax paper.
