Spring is soon approaching and we have a tasty smoothie recipe for you to sip on as we head into the new season. This Apple Smoothie is crisp, spiced, and most importantly DELISH!!
Apples are one of those fruits that can be used in so many ways: apple pie, apple sauce, apple fritters, and, of course, the OG, apple juice. Although you don't often think of apples as a fruit to put in your smoothies, they are perfect for them (and this healthy recipe will prove to you why).
Simply blend your apple pieces with a bit of cinnamon and ice, and there you have it; a nice, refreshing drink that you can sip on throughout the day. Mixing in a handful of our Sweet Cinnamon Broad Bean Crisps adds a crunchy variation of texture to the smoothly blended drink.
Enjoy this smoothie for breakfast, as a side for lunch, as a healthy dessert, or for anytime in between. It's seriously that good!!
- 1 apple
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- Handful of ice
- ¼ cup water
- ENLIGHTENED Roasted Broad Bean Sweet Cinnamon Crisps
- Peel your apple, core it, then slice it into pieces.
- Add the apple, ice, cinnamon, and water to a blender, then blend until smooth.
- Top with Sweet Cinnamon Crisps
